Pricing FAQ
How do credits work?
1 credit = 1 SMS segment (a plain text, with or without emojis). 3 credits = 1 MMS (any message with media like an image, GIF, or video).
Messages longer than one segment cost 1 extra credit per segment. The formula: total contacts × total segments × message type = credits used.
Why do you charge a credit per segment?
When carriers (like Verizon or AT&T) split a long text into multiple segments, they charge us to deliver each one, and we pass that through. A segment is 160 characters for standard text, or 70 if your message contains emojis.
Are there any setup or hidden fees?
No hidden fees. There’s a one-time $19 A2P registration fee, paid to the carriers to vet your brand and messaging. Beyond your plan’s credits, extra messages are billed at your plan’s overage rate (3–7¢ each).
Do you offer a discount for paying annually?
Yes — pay annually and you get 2 months free. You also get all of your credits for the year available right away, to use whenever you like.
How do I choose my phone number?
Once you subscribe, you can pick from a list of available local numbers. Want to use your existing landline or number? Contact us to check whether it’s supported.
Can I change my plan later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from inside your account.
Do credits roll over?
No — credits don’t roll over month to month or year to year. Pick the plan that matches your typical monthly volume (the calculator above helps you estimate).
How many contacts can I have?
Unlimited, on every plan. There’s no cap on the number of contacts you import or add.
Do you offer unlimited messaging?
There’s no limit to how many messages you can send, but there’s no flat-rate unlimited plan. For more than 25,000 credits a month, contact us for custom pricing.
How do users and organizations work?
An organization is created automatically with your account. Add teammates for $10/month per user. Admins get full access; members can manage their assigned contacts and conversations.
What’s the character limit for a text?
A single segment is 160 characters. Go over and the message is split into multiple segments, each costing an additional credit.
Do you offer non-profit discounts?
