If you receive a message within the TextSpot application titled, “Message Flagged For Review” then our automated compliance system has flagged your message as potentially being in violation of carrier guidelines for allowed content.

How the Review Works
If your message triggers our filter system, several things will happen:
- You will receive an automated email titled, “TextSpot Compliance: Message Held For Review.” This email will contain the following message:
Hello,Thank you for using TextSpot.
Your recent message was flagged for manual review by our automated content compliance system. A reviewer will get back to you very quickly, and upon approval, your message will be sent.
Message: “[YOUR FLAGGED MESSAGE]”
Sent at: MONTH DATE, YEAR TIME
We are working hard to improve our compliance system to stay in line with US Carrier Guidelines. Thank you for your patience while we try to improve our systems to reduce false notifications.
Best regards,The TextSpot Team
- A member of our moderation team will promptly review your message and you will be emailed once there is a status update.
- If your message is falsely flagged by our system, we will approve the message and it will be sent immediately or at its scheduled time. If your message violates US Carrier Guidelines and/or TextSpot Terms of Use, your message will not be approved and will not send.
If your message is malicious, appears to be phishing, contains spam, or blatantly violates US Carrier Guidelines your account may be temporarily or permanently suspended.
How the Message Filter System Works
We are working hard to improve our compliance system to stay in line with US Carrier Guidelines. While it’s not perfect, it does help our system stay in good standing with wireless carriers which is good for all TextSpot users.
From time to time, our system may produce false positives where messages that clearly do not violate US Carrier Guidelines or TextSpot Terms of Service are flagged.
Thank you for your patience while we try to improve our systems to reduce false notifications. Our flagging system will get smarter as we catch both violations and false positives. Rest assured that this flagging system is in your best interest and the interest of the contacts you are messaging via TextSpot.
For further information, you can review our Forbidden Content and Acceptable Use Policy. Sending messages in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy may result in account suspension or termination.
